A meaningful dual role — clinical and patient-facing — for someone ready to build a dental career in Singapore's CBD.
The Role
What Does a Dental Assistant / Receptionist Do?
This role combines front desk coordination with chairside dental assisting.
At the front desk, you will greet patients, manage appointments, answer phone and WhatsApp enquiries, handle registration and billing, and support claim processing where needed.
On the clinical side, you will prepare treatment rooms, assist dentists during procedures, sterilise instruments, maintain infection control standards, support basic lab-related tasks, and help keep daily operations running smoothly.
In short, this role is for someone who can be calm at the front desk and reliable behind the scenes.
Is Dental Assisting a Good Career?
For many people, yes.
Dental assisting is a practical healthcare career for individuals who enjoy working with people, prefer structured routines, and want to build real clinical skills in a patient-care environment. It is also a strong entry point for candidates with no prior dental experience — particularly when structured training is provided from day one.
At Dentalis, this role is designed for someone who wants to grow in both patient service and clinical support — within a boutique clinic setting in Tanjong Pagar CBD.
